About : who I am

Painting for me is a totally spiritual experience because I feel that the vistas I paint are come through me in a delightfully co-creative process with the Universe. The resulting art is far beyond anything my small ego self could contrive if left to it’s own devices.
My personality, the radical, sufi, romantic idealist, of course comes to the table with God and out of that devine dance my art is born. This is precisely why I prefer to do art as a meditation, or as therapy free of confines, deadlines, and restrictions, that might come out of art as business ( which I must do to survive).
